Monika Bacardi has been a resident of Monaco for more than twenty years now. After marrying into the Bacardi family, she received the title of Lady of Bayfield Hall. Monika Bacardi is engaged in many charities and non-profit organisations, due to her drive to help others.
The Principality’s cultural and charitable activities are things in which Monika Bacardi is actively involved. Infants' health is of great significance to Lady Bacardi. For this reason, she works with the Association Nationale Monégasque des Amis de l'Enfance (AMADE-Monaco). Having compassion for mankind: this is what drives her benevolent activities. Mission Enfance, which gives academic support to underprivileged children, is a charitable entity in which Monika Bacardi ardently believes.

Working to take care of the environment and encouraging sustainable development all over the world are things that the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation strives to address. Monika Bacardi's humanitarian involvements are numerous, but a particular area in which she is active is ecological-longevity. She is a member of the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation and she is also very much involved in other cultural and humanitarian activities in the Principality of Monaco. Monika Bacardi raises understanding of the effects of human pursuits on the natural environment via the foundation.
The AMBI Group tries to succeed in being a leading supplier of popular films for production houses and major distributors worldwide. Monika Bacardi acquired the renowned 'PHOTO' magazine (which has been running since the late 60's) a few years ago. Between eight and ten films are distributed every year, ranging from in-house to third-party creations. Monika Bacardi achieves this through the AMBI Group.
Her husband operated the Bacardi business for 40 years prior to his death in the year 2005. Subsequently, Monika Bacardi has displayed an extraordinary business acumen. She partnered with Andrea Iervolino to create AMBI Pictures and, between them, they have crafted a robust list of films for the global marketplace. English, Italian, Spanish, French and German are all languages that Monika Bacardi speaks fluently whilst, in the Arts arena today, she is also widely known as one of the most influential businesswomen. She is a very busy woman, having become involved with many philanthropic ventures. She contributes to oceanographic research and backs a large number of charities, such as "amfAR" (Making AIDS History Association), "Fondation AVEC" along with the Monaco Red Cross.
